Konnichiwa Pune 2019

Continuing with our collaboration with the Indo-Japan Business Council, the 2019 edition of Konnichiwa Pune included a bombastic cosplay competition where over 20 cosplayers attended and competed for great prizes!

Konnichiwa Pune itself is an event that aims to promote inter-cultural relations between Japan and India, encouraging collaborations through business, cultural exchanges, trade, commerce and education! Through the presence of various stalls of interest and performances on stage that showcase the best of both Indian and Japanese culture, the festival is a smörgåsbord of entertainment for its attendees!

The cosplay competition saw highly skilled cosplayers showcasing their craft, including Embhalang Pakyntein’s massive Ainz Ooal Gown from Overlord, Fariha Chagla’s Azula from Avatar, Nishad Nadkarni’s Bakugo from My Hero Academia, and Evangelin Retnamony’s Claude from Fire Emblem: Three Houses; to name a few!
